Adam Jacoby
Adam is a father of five, author of Mythocracy and more recently, co-author of MANMADE: A crisis of our own making; 60 failures hurting humanity (release late 2024). Adam is currently the inaugural Chief JTTTS Officer, a national consortium of education and training organisations that undertake all technical training for the Australian Defence Force across Australia.
Adam was previously Co-Founder, CEO, and Chairman of the global democracy movement MiVote which was a finalist in the 2016 Singularity University Grand Global Challenge Awards and featured in the book Democracy Squared. He is considered a global expert in the area of democracy and social innovation. Adam is a 2017 & 2019 Codex World’s Top 50 Innovator and has spoken at numerous Universities and Conferences around the world including the 2017 World Economic Forum (Davos), March for Our Lives Rally (Houston), and Stanford University. Adam has featured in more than 100 media stories about democracy, innovation, and leadership on four continents and was an inaugural judge at the UN SGD Hackathon at the World Economic Forum (Davos).
A serial innovator with a twenty-year global history of leading fast-growth businesses, Adam was the CEO of BRW’s 2010 Fastest-Growing Private Company (under $100M), Sportsnet Corporation, and has launched awarded businesses including; 2013 finalist in the Anthill Cool Company Awards (global category), #40 BRW Fast Starter 2015 and Top 10 in Smart Company's Smart50 Awards 2015. He was Executive Director of Strategy, Student Engagement, and Innovation at Melbourne Polytechnic and the Director of Global and Strategic Innovation and Entrepreneur in Residence at Swinburne University.
Adam was the inaugural Non-Executive Chairman of public company eSports Mogul Asia Pacific (ASX:ESH) and was a Young Australian of the Year Victorian Finalist (Career Achievement Category).
