Call for Abstracts
Are you a thinker, a sometimes risk taker, who transforms your and/or others' ideas into action? And do you openly share your experiences and ideas?
The conference theme, “We are on the edge of what?” and the following criteria, will be considered when reviewing applications to present.
- How can thinking about the consequences of your actions influence what you do today?
- What is the role of thinking in creating the future we would like to see?
- What do you think the outcomes/takeaways for participants would be from the session you propose?
ICOT 2024 welcomes proposals to present from people who consciously value the importance of thinking and the many ways it is part of everyday life and planning for the future.
Experience, research and ideas in action (or in the planning process) that directly connect with one or more of the conference strands are highly valued, including sessions that are future-focused and/or innovative.

ICOT is a not-for-profit initiative. Our small International Committee and Conference Convenors and Local Advisors work voluntarily. One of ICOT’s goals is to make it accessible to many. Our aim is to keep costs reasonable in order to encourage the open sharing of ideas of a diverse group of participants. To make this possible no speakers are paid. Accepted speakers are also required to complete a conference registration to attend ICOT 2024.
