We have learned to expect the unexpected, so despite so much in place for Melbourne ICOT to be held before now, we have been faced with so many challenges, obstacles, and setbacks. As an enthusiastic participant in many ICOTs and knowing the incredible consequences and sequels of taking what I and so many people I have met at ICOTs have learned and developed, and since have worked with and continue to learn from whether in person or from their rich legacy, so much is possible for you too! I am determined for Melbourne ICOT to go ahead in 2024 so you, your families, your organisations, schools, businesses, and all the countries that you call home can benefit from thinking in so many ways, building understanding and taking actions so the step forward from the edge is onto solid land, one step at a time for the greater good.
“Obstacles don’t have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.” - Michael Jordan
The in-person conference experience will enable participants to explore what ICOT 2024 offers including engaging with people with different experiences and stories as well as experiencing thinking that can empower.
Now more than ever we are aware of the consequences of ours and others’ actions and the impact of today on the future. How has your thinking changed in the last few years? What impact has it had on you, your family, your work/learning/actions? What are you on the edge of now?
Join thinkers and doers from a variety of disciplines, to think creatively, critically, collaboratively and take actions towards your and common goals. Together we can co-create a better future and see the edge we are now standing on offers new opportunities also.
